Your Cairns to Mareeba wetlands wildlife wine tour takes you up the Great Dividing Range through World  Heritage rainforest in air-conditioned comfort.
Entering the outback, you will learn about the diversity of the Cairns highland area - the history, industry and people - from our local experienced tour guide.

After morning tea at Jaques Coffee Plantation it's time to feed the rock wallabies at Granite Gorge.

Next stop on the tour is at the Mareeba Heritage Museum with its extensive displays depicting the history of the region.

Lunch is provided in a typically Australian country hotel.

After lunch you journey on to the Mareeba Tropical Savanna and Wetland Reserve. An electric boat cruise on the lagoon gives you the opportunity to see Australia's tropical savanna and wetland flora and fauna in its natural surroundings.

Your last tour stop is a visit to the Golden Pride Winery which is situated on a large mango plantation.   There you may sample their array of refreshing tropical wines and enjoy your afternoon tea.

Golden Pride Winery

The Golden Pride Winery is on the largest family run mango plantation in Australia.
Located just outside Mareeba, Golden Drop is the brand name for a versatile range of still and sparkling white wines with extremely delicate fruity flavours produced from the sweet flesh of the Kensington Red by Golden Pride Wineries.
The mango rightly deserves the reputation as the king of all superb fruits, and our own Australian variety, the Kensington Red, is among the world's best with its fragrant flavour and smooth texture.
You will join locals and tourists from all over the world who now visit the Winery every day for the unique experience of visiting a working mango plantation, and for a memorable wine tasting event of their lovely refreshing tropical Mango Wines, together with Citrus Cellos, Mango Port, and Golden Mango liqueur style wine.
